

Barrel-Aged 80% Extra Dark Granblend
The distinctive and refined flavour profile is based on a blend of cocoa beans that offer barrel-aged notes. Some beans are actually aged in barrels to develop fine aromas and unique characteristics. Other beans, however, are sourced from an island in the Indian Ocean, and are characterised by the smoky notes in their flavour profile. On the palate, the chocolate releases notes of toasted wood, smoked embers and tobacco leaves. This recipe is created to be enjoyed with peated spirits, sweet wines, cigars, liqueurs or, for an unexpected twist, an Irish coffee.
